One of the most athletic pitchers in the PG All-American Classic, Priester will start his second year at quarterback for the Cary-Grove High School football team after starting at safety as a sophomore. On the mound, he can reach 94 mph with his four-seam fastball but his best fastball is a two-seamer at 88-90 with outstanding run and sink that he uses against lefthanded hitters. Priester also throws a very hard and tight curveball and has plus command potential.
