Mullins has been compared to San Diego Padres top prospect and 2016 PG All-American McKenzie Gore at the same age, as they are similarly sized southpaws with flexible high leg raise deliveries and essentially the same stuff at the same age. Mullins generally pitches in the low-90s but was up to 94 at last month's WWBA 17u National Championship with a tight upper-70s breaking ball and a promising changeup.
