With a strong lefthanded swing that combines a high average, middle-of-the-field approach with the strength and raw power to turn on balls, Callihan is one of the most advanced hitters in the 2019 class and hit 21 home runs as part of MLB’s high school home run derby at this year’s All-Star Game. The 14th-ranked player in the 2019 class nationally, Callihan has been getting increasing comparisons to 2018 first round pick and 2017 PG All-American Nolan Gorman for his all around tool-set, both offensively and defensively. Callihan is also a 4.0-plus student in the classroom.
