Armed with a upper-80s to low-90s fastball currently, it's easy to envision Sandoval throwing harder in the near future. He has an easy, repeatable delivery and a very fast arm, and he spots his fastball well down in the strike zone. Sandoval's bread-and-butter pitch is his sharp low-80s breaking ball, delivered with the same arm action and speed as his fastball, making it that much more difficult to identify out of the hand. His low-80s changeup gives him three solid present pitches.
