Davis has two explosive plus-plus tools in his lefthanded bat speed and in his raw arm strength, which measured up to 99 mph at the PG National Showcase, although interestingly Davis does not pitch. The key to his development will be how often Davis can get to his power off of top-level pitching. Davis is also a 6.9 runner who excelled as a potential college-level goalkeeper on the soccer field before dropping that sport to concentrate on baseball.
