Drew Burley is a 2024 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Prior Lake, MN who attends Prior Lake. He has a tall frame with a long and lean frame and plenty of room to add strength. Ran the forty-yard dash in 5.00 seconds. Primary outfielder that approaches the ball confidently and fields it cleanly off his front foot. He has quick, clean transfers and throws with a long arm action. He does a nice job of working through the fielding process and uses his whole body on his throws. Left-handed hitter that starts with a wide base and an open stance. He has his knees flexed and does a nice job of shifting his weight back at the beginning of his swing. He uses a simple stride to square up to the pitcher and for timing. He has a longer swing through the zone and is able to generate nice pop on the ball when he makes contact out in front of the plate. He showed nice fluidity in his swing and did a nice job of staying on balance. Good student. Named to the 2023 Eastern Iowa Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
