Cort Campins is a 2028 C/2B/3B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Naples. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.17 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate, moves well in crouch and coming out, longer take back out of the glove but creates some whip in arm action, accurate throws to second base and repeats well, will continue to develop overall arm strength. Quick footwork in the dirt with sound fundamentals, similar full arm action, will continue to refine a consistent release point on throws across. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, does a nice job of working on a linear path through the zone, shows a feel for moving the barrel around and working all fields. Looks to get the barrel head out front and shows some strength off of the barrel when out front and on time, nice tools in the box to build upon moving forward.
