Nicholas Cressio is a 2027 MIF/RHP, OF with a 5-4 115 lb. frame from Pleasant Hill, CA who attends De La Salle. Features a smaller/lean frame. Ran a 7.73 60-yd dash. Showed quality feel on the dirt. Light feet play in rhythm with soft hands that field the ball clean to both sides. Used a shorter arm action that worked with avg. strength across for his level with present accuracy. At the plate, he sits in a wider crouched stance. Uses a simple trigger where his front foot gets down early with a smaller takeback of his hands. Some drift in the upperbody at times. Bat worked on a flatter path with avg. bat speed/power. On the mound, he side steps into a hip high knee lift and works more tall/fall down the mound. Arm works longer out the glove to a normal ¾ slot. Lands in-line with a taller finish. Works fast and repeats. His fastball worked up to 70 and mixed in a slurvy breaking ball that flashed sharpness for its velo. Flashed a changeup in warmups that was at 59 mph.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
