John Gugliotti is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Springfield, VA who attends Fairfax Home School. Medium, long-levered frame with plenty of time and room to fill out. Recorded a 4.63 second thirty-yard dash time. Primary third baseman with anticipatory actions throughout the fielding process. Showed the ability to range well to either side, exhibits a clean funnel out in-front and changed arm slots when necessary. Recorded fairly accurate throws up to 77 mph during infield drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a high leg lift into balance and medium stride length out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the mid-70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 76 mph from a three-quarters arm slot in this look. Developing control of the strike zone that will improve with refinements to his delivery. Fastball heavy in this appearance with developing changeup as his go-to secondary offering. Will need to improve overall command and develop some form of breaking ball to enhance repertoire. Took part in the outfield portion of drills as well, where he showed deliberate pace to his actions and arm strength up to 78 mph during drills. Produced online, accurate throws from a three-quarters arm slot. Right-handed hitter that hits from a even based stance with a high hand set and slight forward drift into contact. Showcased developing bat-to-ball skills throughout, implores an uphill and slightly elongated swing path. Displayed occasional line drives to the pulls-side and will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments. Projectable, young prospect with physical upside.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
