Liam Weinberger is a 2022 OF/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Great Neck, NY who attends Great Neck South. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.27 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays back on the ball but does a nice job of working behind it, extra step moving into release, short and compact arm action with some carry out of the hand, shows nice accuracy to the intended base, Clean actions picking the backhand in the infield, works to a three-quarters release point on throws across, will continue to refine overall actions in the dirt. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a higher hand set at start; pulls them back deeper at start of swing, full swing path through the zone and works on a linear path. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing and a longer stride moving into contact, connects for line drive contact off of the barrel when squared, shorter finish through point of contact. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
