Matthew Tsoilis is a 2022 1B/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Syosset, NY who attends Syosset Senior. Medium, square shouldered frame with present physical strength throughout, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, active footwork moving towards the ball, fields it out front with some bend at the waist, high energy actions, deliberate tempo to turns, shows accuracy on throws with developing arm strength. Left-handed hitter, begins with wide and open stance at the plate with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a hanging leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Rotational swing, does a nice job of staying short to the ball and shows looseness to swing path, generates strength off of the barrel when squared and on time, offensive components in the box to project upon, shows comfort working to pull side. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
