Jake Beauchaine is a 2023 OF/C, 3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from San Clemente, CA who attends Capistrano Valley Christian Schools. A medium size athletic frame. Ran a 6.75 60-yard dash. An outfielder with some speed and developing footwork in the outfield. Gets some quality reads on fly balls to the outfield and shows the ability to cover some ground. Solid average arm strength from the outfield as well. At the plate he showed quick hands that produce some bat speed through the zone. Shows feel for the barrel and the ball will jump off his bat for gap to gap pop. Showed his swing translates to the game with multiple hits including a triple off the wall. Solid foundations of tools to build upon. Named to Sunshine West Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
