Jack Cahill is a 2023 C/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Seattle Prep. Tall frame with lean build and space to fill the frame. Flashed good defensive skills utilizing the tall frame working upwards on his throws to second. Stayed behind the plate and let the arm put the emphasis on the throws showing fair strength. Defensive skills can improve as he learns to work more consistently to the bases getting more from the lower half. Offensively starts from an even base with high hands seeing the swing stay with the body looking to finish upwards and elevate through contact. Flashed the pull side pop during batting practice to suggest more power in the bat. Very strong academic student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
