Connor Barber is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B, OF, UT with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Toledo, OH who attends Whitmer. Extra Large frame with a physical build showing strength throughout. Ran a 6.83 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, sitting back as he reads it off the barrel before working into it. Lateral quickness. Gathers it up working into a clean transfer. Quick release with arm strength starting to show. Throws up to 80 mph. Secondary Right-handed Pitcher, working into an above the belt leg lift. Strides out utilizing a longer arm swing in the back. Three-quarter slot release working direct to target. Fastball in the upper-70's up to 79 mph. Mixed in a slider in the upper-60's with spin rates peaking at 1782. Also went to a good knuckle ball in the mid-60's that he landed for strikes. Secondary Outfielder, quick first step working into the baseball with short, choppy steps. Gathers out front and released quickly. Accurate to the bag with throws up to 83 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, open to start working into a big leg lift to stride. Strength in hands present as he fires the bat head through the zone. Knows how to leverage the baseball and it jumps off the bat when he times it up properly. Power projection.
