Lewis Dean is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 5-11 156 lb. frame from Lansing, IL who attends Morgan Park. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.72 in the sixty, used his speed aggressively on the bases. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a short rock back load, limited lower half shift, short downhill swing, turns his hips well to help generate bat speed, hit for all fields. Primary outfielder on defense, moves through the ball well and has clean glove work out front, makes accurate throws with developing arm strength, speed will be an asset in his range. Getting stronger will be key to his development, especially on offense.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
