Andrew Caracio is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends North Raleigh Christian Academy. Medium frame with a physical presence starting to show. Ran a 8.37 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Lifts before driving hard off the backside and getting down the hill. Longer arm stroke before releasing from an extended three-quarter slot. Arm speed present proving to project more velocity on the mound. Fastball up to 71 mph with good arm side run. Proved he could elevate and run it past hitters as well. Also mixed in a tight spinning curveball with 11-to-5 actions in the mid-50's. Secondary First Baseman, proper footwork showing as he worked well around the baseball and bag. Clean gather out front and worked into a quick release while turning two. Accurate with throws and feel for the position showing. Left-Handed hitter, high hands to start with before working into load. Many moving parts while working into a linear cut. Stays short to the baseball as he looks to drive it hard. Projects some power down the road when he hones in on the swing. Named to 13u East Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
