Tanner Woodard is a 2024 MIF/OF with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Kenly, NC who attends Neuse Charter. Recorded a 7.79-second 60-yard dash time. Compact, athletic frame tons of room to fill out as he matures physically. Primary middle infielder, flashed some athletic twitch throughout his actions with some bounce in his step. Plays up on his toes, fielding the ball out in front. Developing arm strength, using various arm slots, up to 72 mph across the diamond. Secondary outfielder, aggressive approach with long strides to the ball, fields off his front foot. Over the top arm slot with accurate throws to the bases, up to 73 mph. Right-handed hitter, open stance with a high-hand set. Sprayed the ball throughout the field with a line-drive swing plane that translated into game play. Flashed developing bat-to-ball skills with some impact through the middle of the field. Ball will continue to carry as he adds strength. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
