Luke Cornelison is a 2025 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Springdale, AR who attends Har-Ber. Big and strong athletic build. 6.84 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, moves around well for his size and has easy actions, makes plays on the move well, quick glove to hand exchange, big arm strength across when he's set. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open medium base with a full stride into contact, front side will get early at times and he'll hit around the ball, has a lifting path, best when he's hitting to the middle of the field. Also pitched and graded out higher on the mound. Throws from an over the top arm slot, fastball worked in the low 90's and topped out at 94 mph, gets nice downhill angle on his fastball and throws it to the bottom of the zone. Change up was a very good pitch with up to 16" of horizontal fade and very good arm speed. Also threw a big breaking curveball with 2500+ rpm. Will be interesting to see which side of the ball he develops on. Good student, verbal commitment to Arkansas.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
