Deonte Lenear is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF with a 5-11 110 lb. frame from Warren, MI who attends Harper Woods. Primary MIF with a lean and athletic build. Has quick choppy feet and moves well laterally. Has a smooth gather with a quick release and shorter arm action for quick and timely throws. Made throws with good accuracy behind them. Was up to 71 from across the diamond. Also pitched throwing from a high 3/4 slot. Fastball got up to 73 with good life through the zone. Flashed a curve with 11-5 shape and good depth to it. Filled up the zone and was not afraid to throw strikes. The arm is loose with some whip to it as well. Also ran a 7.62 sixty. Left-handed hitter with an extra wide base and even feet set. Uses a big forward stride to widen out even more while staying on plane well with the swing. Works to the pull side well with contact out in front. Contact projects the best here.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
