Brandon Barrett is a 2026 RHP/3B, MIF with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Westminster, MD who attends Westminster. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.60 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, does a nice job of staying over the rubber and in line with mechanics, creates some deception with delivery and uses length well to generate downhill plane on fastball; topped out at 78 mph from a three-quarters release, mostly true in life with occasional run to arm side. Tends to open front side early at times; raises slot a bit on release of curveball, up to 66 mph with the offering. Wide base fielding the ball in the infield, young actions but shows some range, higher slot on all throws, shows accuracy across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with an upright and narrow stance in the box, utilizes a slight hanging leg lift trigger for timing. Longer swing path through the zone, handsy stroke with a long finish, showed some life off of the barrel when squared and getting extended through the point of contact, best contact when working on a linear path. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
