Maddux Munson is a 2027 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Sioux Falls, SD who attends Sioux Falls Christian. Slender athletic frame. Ran a 7.89 60-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher with tall and fall mechanics on the mound. Short stride down the mound with loose low effort movements. Ran the fastball up to 74 and located it well around the zone. Showed real feel for a developing slider with short and sharper horizontal movement. Does a nice job creating some tilt in his delivery. Showed some intriguing defensive versatility in the infield and outfield. Shows good effort in both spots and solid average arm strength. Hit from an even base with load stride timing at the plate. Swings uphill, has some barrel whip through the zone to go with some present strength in his swing, efficient weight transfer and some developing feel for the barrel. Named to Sunshine Rocky Mountain Top Prospect List.
