Joshua Cavas is a 2024 OF/RHP, MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends Emerson. Recorded a 7.26 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and lean athletic build. Confident approach with solid footwork moving through the ball in the outfield. Clean exchange with a quick release on throws at 82 mph to the bases. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a smooth delivery working mainly from the stretch. Attacks the zone with a fastball up to 76 mph (1816 RPM) in early counts and uses his curveball in high-60s (1873 RPM) as an out pitch when ahead. Flashed a changeup with heavy drop from his high 3/4 arm slot for a third offering. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and toe-tap trigger. Stays inside the ball with a short compact swing and impact to the pull side. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
