Billy Theroux is a 2024 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. Thomas. Sturdy corner frame. Defensively, utilizes footwork direct to the baseball, funnels well up the middle. Above average arm and aquaracy on throws across the diamond. At the plate, he sets up with an even base working into a slight leg lift. Short quick bat path, gains quaity separation and shows strength at impact. Could benefit from more consistent timing. On the mound, he works with up tempo compact delivery and short quick arm stroke. Release comes out of a high three-quarters slot. Fastball plays with running life to it. Slider is thrown with intent showing sharp, short, lateral break and is able to miss bats with it. Shows comfort with the change featuring a got bit of armside fade. 7.30 60-yard. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
