Brady McAnear is a 2023 OF/1B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Aledo, TX who attends Aledo. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Good runner, 6.83 runner in the sixty. Showed nice range and athleticism in the outfield on defense, still developing his arm strength and footwork throwing. Right handed hitter, busy barrel load with a coiled lower half to start his swing, line drive inside swing path, lagging barrel with mid field to opposite field contact, raw bat speed and ability to turn the barrel will continue to develop as he adds strength and physical maturity.
