2024 14U National Showcase
Ethan Torres is a 2028 RHP/3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Primary pitcher with long limbs. Uber projectable. Fluid delivery with full stroke and loose arm through the fully extended three-quarters release. Struggled to command the fastball in this 14U National appearance but easy to think that with refinements to the overall command that this could be a pretty top-notch arsenal. Flashed a tight slider and fading changeup but couldnt get count leverage enough to take full advnatage of the premium stuff. Right-handed hitter, wide base, high hands and high back elbow. Some quickness to the hands and working direct to impact. Flashing strength in the air, middle to pull. Lofted path with steep upward launch. 7.32 60-yard.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
