Toby Jones is a 2023 3B/RHP, C, 2B, SS with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Berthoud, CO who attends Berthoud. He has a medium frame and an athletic build with a lot of twitch. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.42 seconds. Primary third baseman that has solid footwork and showed a feel for the glove. He stabs at the ball at times and throws with a short arm action that could add velocity by working through his throws more. Secondary outfielder that rounds the ball well and fields it off his front foot. He shows similar hand skills and arm action here as he did in the infield. There is room for more velocity by engaging his lower half through the process more. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base with a slight knee bend and high hands. He uses a toe tap trigger for timing. He does a nice job of firing his lower half and generating bat speed with his quick hands. He uses the whole field well and has a line drive approach. Named to the Rocky Mountain Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
