Riley Furrow is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-0 178 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends Lake Norman. Nice athletic build with good present strength for his age. 7.68 runner in the sixty. Has long and athletic actions in the outfield on defense, clean release on his throws with some carry, developing fundamentals through the ball that will improve with coaching and repetitions. Right handed hitter, hits from an open start with a turned in front foot, short hands driven swing, tends to drift his upper body into his swing and create downhill angle, has the strength to open up his swing and look to drive the ball more consistently. Took a turn on the mound, high energy delivery with a big leg raise to start, upper body delivery. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, has been up to 84 previously at PG events, still developing consistent command of his fastball. Curveball was a quality pitch that showed tight spin and sharp downer life, had better curveball command than fastball command this outing. Has a chance to develop as a two-way prospect on the mound. Good athlete who will continue to improve.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
