Josh Screen is a 2024 OF/1B, 2B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Dunwoody, GA who attends Marist. Features a long, slender build with room to add more. Ran a 7.03 60-yard. Primary outfielder. Showed well during defensive drills. Charges the ball hard using a short step approach. Fields the ball out front. Catches it clean regularly. Uses a long release with an overhead slot to generate accurate throws often. More arm strength should come as strength is added to frame. Utilizes a narrow, open stance at the plate. Uses direct bat path with the ability to pull the hands in. Looks to drive inner half pitches. Flashed some feel for the barrel. More power potential down the line as build develops. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
