David Stanley is a 2023 C/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Toronto, ON. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and some length to frame with present strength, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate, receives the ball out front, quick transfer into a shorter arm action, can implement additional lower half into gaining ground, repeats actions and shows accuracy down to second base. Fields the ball out to side in the outfield, deeper arm stroke through the backside working to a higher slot, some bend at waist, occasionally gets uphill with release. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, upper body dominant swing. Stays short moving to the ball and keeps hands inside the ball, gets the barrel through the zone, gets spread moving into contact, best contact when working on a linear plane, projects with additional physical strength. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
