2023 Rocky Mountain Workout Showcase (Fri.)
Riley Schilling is a 2024 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Gillette, WY who attends Thunder Basin. Very athletic looking and lengthy build with proportional halves, some lean strength showing and room for more additional muscle all over. Ran a 7.60 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, solid frame stands out, squared off stance, stays deep in crouch upon reception, accurate throws, good direction, repeats mechanics well, slight hitch, good overall feel for the spot. Took reps in the infield, crude arm strength here, let it rip, throws with intent, high slot, corner actions, worked hard laterally, projects to third on the dirt. Right-handed hitter, swings hard with slight head whack, even base, inward front foot, slight bar, low liners in the round, can project the power long term with swing adjustments, has an idea to handle the barrel. Strong framed prospect with room for more, projection remaining in the box and behind the dish. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 Rocky Mountain Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
