2023 Sunshine Northeast Showcase
Jacob Jaconski is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Millington, NJ who attends Watchung Hills Reg HS. Jaconski worked exclusively from his primary spot behind the dish, displaying a slight side saddle set with a direct in-line transfer. He successfully remained on top of throws with additional room to gain ground in the footwork, posting a 2.19 pop time. Expect arm strength to continue increasing as Jaconski physically matures. At the plate, the left handed hitter started from a wider slightly open base with a toe tap trigger, staying short through the zone and remaining inside the baseball to produce consistent line drive contact. He displayed solid bat-to-ball skills and barrel control, posting an exit velo of 79 mph. Ran a 7.52 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
