Jackson Snitko is a 2022 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Tustin, CA who attends Arnold O. Beckman. Features a medium build with a strong lower half. Ran a 7.61 60- yard. Flashed some twitchy actions throughout first base drills. Sound glove actions catch the ball cleanly fairly consistently. Quick feet work to the ball well. Short, low slot arm action produce playable throws from the first base spot. Switch hitter at the plate with both swings mirroring each other. Slightly open stance with high elbow set up. Solid foundation stays balanced throughout. Short, simple swing produces a fair number of barrels. Strong lower half contributes to solid power from both sides. Solid left-handed arm on the mound. Simple, drop and drive delivery with minimal effort throughout. Uses a short arm action from a high 3/4 slot. The fastball sat 73-75 mph and paired with a quality mid-60’s curveball. Has feel to spin breaking ball well, producing downward action. Continue to develop the fastball will allow for both offerings to miss bats more consistently. Excellent student, as well.
