Max Collins is a 2024 RHP/SS, OF with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends La Costa Canyon. Features a big, strong, sturdy, projectable frame. Pitcher only. Has a three-pitch mix that include fastball, slider and changeup. Works quick with a clean operation throwing out of a three-quarter arm slot with long arm action. Fastball has arm side run and got it up to 91 while sitting 87-88 majority of the outing. Slider has late sweep and he throws at any point in the count. Changeup is difficult to pick up out of the hand has the slot and arm speed does not differentiate from other pitches. Repeatable, balanced delivery with the ability to locate in all four quadrants. Ran a 7.31 sixty-yard dash. Good student. Was named to the 2023 California Prospect Showcase top player list.
