Michael Scarpa is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-10 220 lb. frame from Saratoga, CA who attends Valley Christian Schools. Started the event off clocking a 8.35 60-yard dash. A primary first baseman, secondary pitcher. Showed soft hands at first base and picked the ball well on low throws with solid footwork. Hits from a wider, closed stance and glides well into contact using a toe-tap trigger mechanism. Has some strength in his swing with short hands to the ball and lift out front, has the strength to drive the ball and made consistent hard game contact. Repeats his mechanics well. Slight cross-fire delivery. Fastball topped out at 76 mph, works with about a 50/50 mix of fastballs and sliders, slider has some tilt at its lower velocity levels. A strike thrower who makes hitters swing the bat. Named to the Top Prospect List. Good student.
