2023 PG Underclass All-American Games
Chase Sutherland is a 2025 C/2B, 3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Kailua, HI who attends St. Louis. Tall, athletic frame with strength throughout. Right-handed hitter, medium and even base, leg lift load, direct path to the baseball and has good bat speed. Strength at impact and showed pull-side power later in the round. Has good rhythm to the swing and feel for the barrel. Primary catcher, staggered feet setup and stays low, natural receiver, quick exchange and a compact arm action, gets the baseball out quick with a good arm and throws were on the bag. Fundamentally sound footwork and repeated it well, recorded throws up to 74 mph and a pop-time of 1.98. Great student. Named to 2023 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
