2023 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Jaxon Griffiths is a 2025 OF/RHP/MIF with a proportional, athletic 6-2 170 lb. frame from Visalia, CA who attends Redwood. Started off the event clocking a 7.51 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder that pitches as well. Griffiths showed the ability to work through the baseball with confidence and athleticism delivering on-line throws to the bases, one hopping the mitt consistently. On the mound he features a 2-pitch mix (FB, CB) out of a 3/4 arm slot. Shows fundamentally sound mechanics with a clean repeatable delivery. Fastball has excellent arm-side run into right-handed-hitterd and was able to drop in a get-me-over curveball for strikes. Solid 2-way prospect. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
