2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Aiden Garcia is a 2026 RHP/SS, OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Roselle, NJ who attends Roselle Catholic. A lean frame with athleticism showing. High-set waist and length throughout the build. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. A primary right-handed pitcher who had a really whippy arm. Works from the first base side of the rubber. He uses a small side step to start the motion as he works into a knee above the belt leg lift. Stays on line as he works down the mound and does a good job pushing down the mound. Has a shorter arm action and works from a high three-quarters arm slot. Has good hand speed as well. Fastball works up to 79 mph while holding in the upper-70s. Also showed a breaking ball with some good depth to get swings and misses when landed below the zone. Punched out 4 hitters over 2 innings of work. A right-handed hitter with a crouched stance. Has high-set hands with the back elbow up. Had some quickness to his hands. Sinks into his lower half and rotates as he works through the zone. Used the whole field during his round of BP. Also worked out as an outfielder. Had a quick release, keeping throws on line. Threw 86 mph from the outfield with some whip-to-the-arm action. He carried his momentum through the throws with some twitch to his footwork.
