Ivan Carballo is a 2029 2B/RHP/C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Wiregrass Ranch. Medium, athletic looking frame with lean muscle throughout and room to add. Recorded a 7.15 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with a sound defensive skill set. Works downhill through the baseball with good pace and a clean funnel. Showed plenty of lateral range and delivered accurate throws up to 84 mph across the diamond. Secondary catcher that received from a one-knee setup with soft hands and tons of athleticism. Gains ground towards his target with urgency and maintains a direct midline transfer into release. Produced online, accurate throws up to 76 mph from behind the plate during drills. Took part in the outfield portion of defensive workouts as well, where he showed off his athleticism and arm strength once again. Maintained clean footwork and delivered accurate throws up to 80 mph during drills. Lastly, he showed some two-way upside by working his fastball up to 78 mph. Attacks the zone effortlessly, flashed a developing breaking ball and replicated changeup to complete his mix. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high, tight hand set and hanging leg lift trigger. Intent based stroke with whip to his barrel and plenty of present bat speed. Middle-of-the field approach with legitimate power to the pullside. Good Student. Named to the 2024 13U Perfect Game Select Baseball Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
