Shawn Otta is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Huntington Beach. Athletic build with good length to frame, more room for future projection. Ran a 7.04 in the 60-yard dash. Outfielder, quick gather on the hop with a strong transfer. Shows developing arm strength and has more to work with. Right-handed pitcher, hands start low at the back with a high leg lift into a high three-quarter slot and medium arm circle. Fastball lived high-70s with subtle life. Right-handed hitter, narrow base and lower hand set. Showed good strength at impact and loud pull-side contact. Looks to lift with plenty of intent. Very good student.
