Christian Yamashita is a 2028 SS/2B with a 5-5 135 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Montverde Academy. Smaller frame with a young, athletic build. Ran a 7.79 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good actions on the dirt with quickness and confidence, excellent glove work with timing and ability to adjust, not much arm strength just yet but works through his release well and has the foundation to be really good up the middle with maturity. Right-handed hitter, narrow start and clean move in, stays short to the ball and works to extend out front after impact, loose hands and does a good job staying in rhythm, not a ton of impact just yet but excellent hitting traits and consistently on the barrel.
