Sam Ricord is a 2027 2B/RHP, C, 3B, SS, OF with a 5-1 110 lb. frame from Shreveport, LA who attends Northwood. Posted a 9.77 in the 60. Primary 2B is a young developing build with more to see as he matures. Showed a soft approach in the infield, works through plays well with a good idea and plenty to come as he builds. Right-handed pitcher peaked his fastball at 62 flashing a developing breaking ball with some good shape at times. Limited rhythm in his operation, should start to smooth out his delivery with experience. Left-handed hitter works short to the ball with good balance. Showed a great feel for the barrel with a sound approach putting line drives up the middle.
