Primary outfielder who worked out at the position with some aggression and energy to the feet, moving through it well. He fields it out in front and works into the transfer, shuffling into throws, with some whip to the arm, showing good arm strength. He had a lower flight on throws with some carry to it, showing good accuracy around the bag, with one-hop accuracy. He showed feel for the actions with some projection that showed throughout his round, throwing 83 mph. He carried the momentum through it and looked the part. He took BP as a right-handed hitter with open feet, high hands, and the back elbow up, with an even base and leg lift trigger working inward. He had a more aggressive move with hard turns and a feel to impact it well. He took a really good round of BP swings with strength off it and a feel to produce line drives all over. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
