Ryder Holmstrom is a 2028 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Shawnee, KS who attends St. Thomas Aquinas. Medium, slender build with room to add. Ran a 7.54 in the sixty yard dash. Showed well at both infield and first base drills. Clean lateral range on the left side of the dirt and gets into fielding position well for age. Solid arm strength with more in store as he gets more behind his throws. First base, he was around the bag with proper footwork and fielding to the middle of his stance. Changed slot on the move and made all the plays. Also pitched, has some depiction to his release point from a high three-quarter slot and gets sweeping action on his breaking ball. Showed feel to land fastball to the corners. Right-handed hitter, even stance and rhythmic toe tap into contact. Clears backside well and has some good young bat speed. Liners to the pull side and was on the barrel in his round. Good student.
