Nolan Causey is a 2025 SS with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Johnston City, IL who attends Johnston City. Slender young build with lots of growing ahead of him. Right handed hitter, hits from an exaggerated open stance with a big lower half move into his swing, swings hard and is looking to drive the ball, has good hand quickness and bat speed, fairly timing intensive swing and can get long to the ball but can impact it when everything comes together. 7.85 runner in the sixty. Shows good footwork in the middle infield on defense, active feet with good balance and puts himself in good position to field the ball, multi-piece arm action when throwing from high angles, arm works better from lower slots, projects best at second base moving forward. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
