Sabin Tomlinson is a 2024 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends. Features a medium sized frame with a more lean build. Ran a 5.22 60-yd dash. In the OF, flashed fundamental defensive actions. Showed some stutter steps before reception but moved with present quickness. Glove actions were clean where it flips down on time and with reception out front. Works through the ball well and with a clean/quick transfer. Showed a shorter arm action that worked up to a higher slot. Throws showed avg. strength for his level up to 80 but with present accuracy. At the plate, he sits in a wider open stance from the left side. Hands set into a preset strong launch. Slight sway into his backside with a glide forward with his forward move. Creates some good tilt that maintains through his turn/rotation. Hands throw a quick connected barrel on a clean path through the zone flashing above avg. bat speed. Results were majority barrels through the middle of the field. Strong overall BP round. Named to Top Prospects List.
