2024 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 11)
Drake Olson is a 2028 RHP/OF/IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends The Kinkaid. Solid athletic build with good strength for his age and plenty of physical projection remaining. 7.31 runner in the sixty. Primary pitcher but also worked out in the outfield and infield, tools and actions worked better in the outfield, fields the ball cleanly out front, big crow hop slows down his release, long and loose arm action with some young carry on his throws, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from an open crouched stance with a double toe tap trigger close, uphill swing plane with good extension through contact, has the strength impact the ball and create some pull side carry. Has been up to 81 mph on the mound this summer at PG events.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
