Brayden Jeffries is a 2026 C/RHP/MIF with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC. Long and slender young build with lots of growing ahead of him. 7.59 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense but graded out better at his other defensive positions. Has nice infield actions, plays relaxed and quick and works to the ball well, throws from a lower slot with a quick release. Armed worked well from the outfield with good carry and good footwork in his transitions. Catching actions were young with lots of work needed on glove positioning and footwork. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight spread stance with a short stride, good hand set keeps his swing simple, flashed quick hands with the ability to turn on the ball and drive it, has some barrel whip when he's attacking the ball. Also pitched, loads over the rubber well with a short leg raise delivery, full arm action in back with a high 3/4's arm slot coming through, good direction down the mound. Threw lots of strikes with a fastball that topped out at 76 mph, showed solid feet for a mid-60's slider and generated some swing/miss on the pitch. Will definitely continue to improve as he gets stronger.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
