Tyler Padgett is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-1 102 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends Kingwood Park. Small frame with a young, lean build. Ran an 8.77 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, quick and compact delivery, stays in short line with a big arm circle, has some looseness to his release through a higher slot. Short run on the fastball, sinks it a bit at the zone, showed a huge vertical breaking ball as well, able to land it a times. Plays some outfield and first base, timid approach, younger actions and long release, able to be accurate to bags. Left-handed hitter, even base and later trigger, short hand path and turns over the barrel a bit, drifts some into contact and will improve control and consistency of the barrel with added strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
