Corey Bourgeois is a 2028 3B/RHP, 2B, SS with a 5-7 115 lb. frame from Houma, LA who attends Covenant Christian Academy. Recorded a 7.90 60-yard dash. Primary infielder with a wiry, athletic frame. Showed clean actions in the infield and good glovework. Used a longer arm action and made all of the plays. Right-handed hitter and starts with a medium base and even feet. Works into a deep hand load and showed good rhythm to the stroke. Refined swing with quality bat speed, utilizing a longer swing and linear bat path. Displayed best power to the pull side gap. Secondary right-handed pitcher and creates good direction, staying on line to the plate well. Leg lift to above the belt and gets good extension down the mound. Uses a medium length arm action and generated plenty of weak contact. Named to the 2022 Deep South Prospect Top Prospect Showcase.
