Hudson Schmidt is a 2026 C/1B, 3B with a 5-4 135 lb. frame from Cos Cob, CT who attends Greenwich. Recorded a 8.37-second 60-yard dash time. Young, athletic build with obvious physical growth remaining. Primary catcher, low, even stance with some athleticism in actions. Accurate throws to the bag, with an uphill release. Best recorded pop time at 2.25-seconds with throws up to 65 mph. Could speed up and shorten process to lower pop time. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a narrow, slightly open stance, and a high-hand set. Developing feel for the barrel showcasing consistent contact during round, spraying ball around the field. Downhill swing path that works short through the zone. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
